PROJECT OBJECTIVES

Preparation project in 2015

  • Evaluation of current monitoring activities at both sides (compare “Map Metadata”)
  • Implementation of different pilot studies (see “Pilot Studies”)
  • Optimizing and standardizing of monitoring methodology
  • Creation of an common, transboundary monitoring design

Implementation in 2016

  • Implementation of the common monitoring design with consistent methodology
    • Installation of measuring stations and study sites
    • Recording of biodiversity of forests, mires and waters
  • Recommendations for a common management
  • Definition of common research priorities
